Christmas 2007

Well what a Christmas!!!
Me and CC stayed the night at my parents house. So Santa was sent a special message to come to there house vs. our house. The boys love there Grandparents!!!!

The boys sure made out this year! Damon really wanted from Santa his Fighting Megazord......(dont ask!! i just figured out what it was when i looked it up!! LOL)
Lucas he is a hard one cause he still doesnt get the whole "asking for what you want from Santa" thing so it is basically whatever Damon says he does too. But he got a huge Pirate ship from Santa. The boys also got some books and both got a remote control car, and transformer.

They also got that Smart Cycle that is an actual stationary bike for kids and it plugs into the TV and they ride the bike to the video game thing. We havent tried it yet cause CC tried to put it together, got to the end only to find out that one of the pedals was broken.....so we need to return it for another one.

Damon got his Leapfrog learning system. It is a hand held gaming system. It has a lot of educational games for it. A bug Vacuum and caring case, transformers, clothes, candy, pirate lego building island, kids digital camera, star wars han solo and chubaca transformer millennium falcon thing, some shoes and much more........

Lucas got his big box of Magnastix. It is a bunch of magnets that you put together to build towers and what not. cars shoes, transformers, candy, remote control helicopter, dvd's, cars, and lots more!!

Every Christmas of course is the infamous stockings. How the Carter household works, is that we have HUGE stockings that we fill to the brim! Lucas's stocking was bigger than him! they both had so much fun with those.

I got CC of course a bunch of shirts. And since every year every body gets him a boat load of Houston Texan memorabilia this year i decided to broaden my horizons and purchased him a Houston Rockets jersey. He really liked it!

CC sure surprise me. He got me a huge Kathy VanZeeland Pink glittery Hand bag. I LOVE my Kathy Vanzeeland handbags. they are alittle pricey so i cant always get myself one. So CC surprised me with one! He did good!!!

We had a very Merry Christmas and we hope you all did too!!

Lucas 3rd Birthday party

We had an eventfull Birthday party!
Lucas wanted a race car theme birthday, so everything was race car!
We had lots of fun. we played games and bounced on the bounce house.
Lucas recieved lots of cool presents. Thank you to all who came and for all the presents. he loves getting presents!!!!

Halloween 2007

Hello Everybody

Hi everyone,
I have started this blog so that everyone can access it and see what the Cortez Family is up too. I hope you all enjoy.

We have been recuperating from Lucas's 3rd birthday. Rebecca and Robinson came out for the festivities. It was a really nice visit. It went by way to fast i am sure that they could have used another couple of days with the boys.

Lucas is so proud to be three! He holds those three little fingers up with pride! He had a race car birthday party. It was alot of fun.

Damon is now 5 1/2. He is so caring and thought full. He is patiently awaiting Christmas. For some reason the other day he says to me "mom there is no Santa, you are Santa. And Santa is just someone dressed up!" So me and CC have been working really hard to bring back his belief in Santa. And then i go and start trying to explain the Toys drives that they have set up at the stores and he goes " well i thought Santa brings toys to all the kids?" so then i had to cover my hid more! Oh well once he sees all his toys he wont care whether or not there is a real Santa, cause all he knows is that he got toys out of the whole deal.

CC got me a new Saturn Outlook. It is sooooo beautiful!!! I absolutely love love love it. I can actually start my car now by pressing my key ring, and open up the back hatch thing! What a cool invention. There is so much room in it. It is going to be nice to not have to take two cars when our parents go with us places.
Neways i better run for today. I will be trying my hardest to up date this blog as often as possible so stay tuned. Take care
